Breath Day – August 4, 2018

They’re familiar comments. We’ve all heard them before … “I’ve worked hard for everything I have” … “He’s a self-made man” … “She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.”

The class-system mentality separates us. Judgments are made based upon a person’s ability, contribution to society, whether they have value or are deserving.

Lest we forget Who provided the resources that made us into anything at all, consider this: God has no “favorite” child!  The ground at the foot of the cross is level. There is no recognition of earnings, achievements, status, or fame. It is wholly and exclusively the grace of God because of His Son Jesus that has achieved for us our salvation.

For the grace of God had appeared, bringing salvation for all people …  Titus 2:11
