Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song. We call it Word & Worship.
OUR WORD for TODAY:
We are called to be servants of the Lord.
“whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”” Mark 10:44-45 NLT
We’re not here by accident. Every single one of us have a purpose…a mission to fulfill. Although, it may look different for each of us, the goal is the same; to lead people to Jesus. We’re called to do that by serving others. All others; and counting everyone as greater than ourselves. We do this by using every spiritual gift and talent God has placed within us. It’s in this act of surrender, submission and obedience to the Lord, are we able to exemplify Him to the world; being His hands and feet. However, we can only become a servant of the kingdom AFTER we seek and find the Servant who gave His life for all.
OUR WORSHIP for TODAY: Your Hands and Feet – Justin Gambino
We pray that as you read the Word and worship with us this morning, that your spirit is stirred and compelled to step into your calling to be a servant to all those around you. May His light be all they see when they look at you, and therefore, are drawn to it. Be blessed today and the rest of the week.
And I will follow you my friend
And I will follow you to the end
In my darkest nights you’ll be my light
In my darkest days you’ll shine the way
To where you want me to be
Like you spread your arms across that tree
I’ll spread your love you gave to me
To be your hands and feet, It’s what I’ll be
I’ll take you everywhere with me
And they’ll realize it’s not me they see
If I seek and find where I belong
I’ll become your hands and feet
