God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
The kindness stuns me. The words take me by surprise. I am taken aback, sure it’s either a hoax or meant for someone else.
Has it ever happened to you? Out of nowhere, flowers are delivered to you. Someone compliments you. “You have the most beautiful smile!” … “I’m so glad I know you!” If you’re like me, most times you shrug off the comment, downplay it, or question the gift giver’s judgment.
The blessed words and acts of kindness are extensions of God’s grace, given not because they were deserved or earned, but as reminders of who we are: loved, accepted, and absolutely complete in Christ.
Bathe in the luxury of the gift, freely given.
