Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. ~ Psalm 139:7-8
Standing in the kitchen, I heard the patter of his feet. As I peeked around the corner, I saw him frantically looking for me. He stopped in one room and looked around. Not finding me there, he headed into another room. Not there either. The jangle of his collar tags became faint as he scrambled upstairs looking for me. He quickly returned downstairs. I heard him panting heavily as he picked up his pace to find me.
“Jake, I’m in here, buddy,” I called out. With his tongue hanging sideways from his mouth, he raced into the kitchen. There she is! His eyes danced with the excitement of finding me. All was right in his world again.
Unlike me, God never moves. There is no place so far away you might wander that is outside of His reach.
He is ready and waiting for you.
