Word & Worship – Easter – Ghost

Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song.   We call it Word & Worship.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life; and His spirit lives within us.

“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”    Romans‬ ‭8:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬

Today, Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Savior, and the gift of salvation His sacrifice bought for us. But we need not only remember that He was raised to life and what He did for us, but also what He did within us.

Let us never forget or lose sight of the incredible truth that because of His sacrifice for salvation, His spirit now dwells in US!!!  The very same power that created the universe and resurrected Jesus from the grave, comes alive in us when we receive Him as our Lord and savior!  It ignites our faith and allows to have a direct connection with our Heavenly Father.

Let us praise Him today for all He has done for us and given to us.

OUR WORSHIP for TODAY:  Ghost David Crowder

As you go about your Easter celebration today, remember to stop and take in the depth of the love of Jesus, what His love cost Him and also what we gained from it.  And as you worship with us today, we pray the truth in these lyrics will arouse the Spirit within you, His Spirit, reminding you of who you are in Him.  —Happy Easter from everyone here at Breath On Paper!  Blessings!

His Ghost is inside me

Holy fire burning wildly

Burning through the things

That need to be erased

To liberate my soul

Get ready, there’s an empty tomb

Get ready, there’s a Ghost in the room

Get ready, even mountains move

Get ready, all the stories are true

Follow Breath on Paper and make us a part of your daily devotion.
