“Starve Your Distractions” the billboard on the side of the road blinked, diverting the attention of those driving by. Like the flashing billboard, distractions surround us, luring us away from that which is best focused on. So much of how we spend our days, in thoughts and actions, are of no eternal consequence.
To what do you allow your attention to drift? Your to-do list? deadlines? comparison? fears?
The enemy deceives us, making the temporal appear much larger than it is. This Breath Day, with intention, set your gaze upon the Author and Perfecter of faith, He who is the Alpha and the Omega, who for the joy set before him endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2).
