Word & Worship – Even If You Don’t

Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song.   We call it Word & Worship.

God is still good and we need to trust Him, even if we don’t understand our circumstances.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.”  Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Yesterday Church of the Highlands concluded their semi-annual 21 Days of Prayer.  It was an incredible 3 weeks of the body of Christ seeking The Lord’s face in unity.  Many experienced answered prayers, miracles, breakthroughs and a touch from God.  All such praiseworthy experiences.  However, there are some that come Day 22 and beyond that are still waiting for their experience; still waiting for an answer for what they’re walking through.  Some who have been waiting much longer than 21 days.  For those, there can be a need to understand why theirs weren’t answered.  It’s important for us to realize that even if He doesn’t answer as we’re expecting and praying, He is still good, can be trusted and is worthy of our praise.

OUR WORSHIP for TODAY:  Even If – Mercy Me

God is good, no matter what we walk through.  Our prayers aren’t falling on deaf ears.  He hears and He cares.  Praise Him regardless of your circumstances; trust Him in the wait, even if He doesn’t answer or if His answer is ‘no.’ He is for us.

I know You’re able and I know You can
Save through the fire with Your mighty hand
But even if You don’t
My hope is You alone
I know the sorrow, and I know the hurt
Would all go away if You’d just say the word
But even if You don’t
My hope is You alone
You’ve been faithful, You’ve been good
All of my days
Jesus, I will cling to You
Come what may
