Word & Worship – Your Promises

This semester we are writing on words of the Spirit and will begin each week with a Word & Worship inspired by the Word of the Week.  We hope you join us each day and enjoy the messages God has laid upon our hearts to share with you.

This week’s word is HOPE.

Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song.                                                               We call it Word & Worship.

OUR WORD for the week:    HOPE

Jesus is our HOPE.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”  ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This world is nothing without hope.  Our lives empty and dispondent if we do not have it.  Yet, our Father loves us so much that He sent His Son to be our hope; the Hope of the world.    His plan for us is so much more than what exists in a mere lifetime.  It’s not just about our earthly future but rather our eternal one.

OUR WORSHIP for TODAY:  Your Promises – Elevation Worship

It’s our prayer that the words of today’s song will reconnect you or just remind you where your hope comes from; that it will encourage and strengthen you.  He makes good on every promise He makes.

As I walk into the days to come
I will not forget what You have done
For you have supplied my every need
And Your presence is enough for me
Doesn’t matter what I feel
Doesn’t matter what I see
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me
