Word & Worship – Mother’s Day

  • Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song to celebrate the blessing of motherhood in honor of Mother’s Day.

OUR WORD for TODAY:

“Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: ‘There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!‘”  Proverbs‬ ‭31:28-29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Being a mother is a ministry in itself and the most important one there is.  There’s such responsibility in raising the precious life with which you’ve been entrusted and the work is never done.  Yet the Lord designed the bond between a mother and child so perfectly, knowing her love would be the closest reflection of His love for us.  Celebrating all mothers everywhere, HAPPY MOTHER’s Day!!!

OUR WORSHIP for TODAY:  One Little Heartbeat At A Time– Steven Curtis Chapman

A beautiful song to celebrate the mothers in our lives.  Reflect on the blessing she’s been to you and others, and praise the Lord for the gift she is to you as you listen to the lyrics.  Maybe even play it for her if you can.  And be sure to let her know today and everyday, just how thankful you are for her.

With every “I know you can do it” Every tear that you kiss away.  So many little things that seem to go unnoticed,  They’re just like drops of rain.  Over time they become a river.

And you are changing the world,  One little heartbeat at a time.  Making history with every touch and every smile.  You may not see it now, But I believe that time will tell How you are changing the world, one little heartbeat at a time.
