Word & Worship – Take Courage

Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song.                                                               We call it Word & Worship.

Jesus has overcome every adversity we face and in Him we have victory.

“I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have overcome the world.”  ‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭

When we face the troubles of this world we can easily feel afraid and uncertain.  But because of the promises in the Word and the victory we have in Christ, we can be assured that God will never leave us wanting.  We can find Him with us in the middle of tribulation.  That’s where we become stronger and we draw closer to Him.

OUR WORSHIP for TODAY:  Take Courage – Kristene DiMarco

What truth these lyrics hold for us if we still our hearts and let their power resonate within our spirit.  Listen to it on repeat and let the promise it holds sink in.

He’s in the waiting.  Hold on to your hope as your triumphs unfold.  He’s never-failing.  Sing praise, my soul.  Find strength in joy.  Let His words lead you on.  Do not forget His great faithfulness.  He’ll finish all He’s begun.
