Word & Worship – When the Fight Calls

Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song.   We call it Word & Worship.

In the midst of trouble God will give us peace and rescue us.  We need only to trust Him.  He has overcome every battle we face.

Every one of us walk through seasons where it feels the world is crashing down on and around us.  It can consume us and break our hearts.  But in His word, the Lord gives us this lifeline.  He promises us peace in our chaos and deliverance from our trials.  He loves us with such deep affection and His heart is for us.  By surrendering our cares to Him, He will bring us through the fire unscathed and arm us with a testimony of His faithfulness.

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

This means He is GREATER than anything we could ever face. He will deliver us safely through every trial, we need only to surrender to the One who has overcome it all.

OUR WORSHIP for TODAY:  When the Fight Calls – Hillsong Young & Free

Sing His praise with all that you have.  Feel His embrace and bask His presence, releasing your every burden to Him.  As you do, you will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding that only He can give.

Even when the wars’s wage, I’ll take heart.  I know that You are greater.  Forever You are Savior.  I will sing Your praise with all that I have, with all that I am Lord.
