Today we take time to reflect on a precious verse and a beautiful song. We call it Word & Worship.
OUR WORD for TODAY: It is God who gives us the breath that we breathe.
Worship is when we give God His breath back.
Recorded in three of the gospels Jesus commanded the wind and the sea and both obeyed His voice. God holds us in the palm of His hand and nothing can reach us that isn’t filtered through His fingers. There is Nothing He cannot do… even bring Peace to the wind and the sea.
And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39
Be reminded that our worship of God should not be based on our circumstances, but based on who God is.
OUR WORSHIP for TODAY: It Is Well – Kristene DiMarco & Bethel Music.
“To be shaken by circumstances doesn’t make any sense when you think about everything God has brought you through and what He will bring us through in the future,” DiMarco says.
The waves and wind still know His name.
