Noel

I remember the first Christmas after I was saved, almost four years ago, when I truly heard the magnificent songs and sounds of the Christmas season for the first time.  I had sung these etherial songs my whole life, but until my heart had been opened and made ready to receive His light, they were just beautiful songs in a beautiful stained glass setting.  But, the moment God blessed me and healed my ears to hear, I would never sing the same again!  My singing became a form of worship and praise to my Savior.  I now sing in AWE!  It is so incredibly powerful to feel the intensity of the music, especially during the Christmas season, once you can truly hear and understand the words being sung about  JESUS!

Mathew 11:15 “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Psalm 104:33 “I will sing to the LORD as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!”

I encourage you this Christmas season to open your ears and hearts to receive the songs of His birth as heard and sung differently, much deeper.  Allow the music to strengthen your understanding and it will minister to your soul.  “Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel Shall come to thee, O Israel.”  Amen
