Are there words that you sometimes use to describe yourself that are not really what God says about you? Like failure, shamed, or unworthy. God says you are blessed, anointed, healed, holy, and chosen. Join us every morning as we write on a few of the names God speaks over us. ~ Breath on Paper
Oh Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth. When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place—what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Psalm 8:1,3-4
Thanks to our daughters track team, we got to spend Mother’s Day weekend enjoying the beautiful white sands and emerald waters of Orange Beach. Blessed.
Out of all that he created, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, the flowers of the field. He still cares for and loves even me. Blessed.
Even when I forget to thank him for my life-my family, our home, sunrise, sunset. He still calls me beloved and friend. Blessed.
There is one part of the beach that I don’t care for as much. It is the dry sand between the boardwalk and the wet sand at waters edge. This sand shifts and forward progress is slow. My feet seem to sink with each step. And if it is a hot summer day and you’re walking barefoot, it can burn the soles of your feet.
Sometimes it feels like my life is like that.
But when I get to the wet sand where the water packs it firm, my feet are more secure and I can look out on this magnificent creation and exclaim the wonders of our God. Blessed.
Life will get crazy. The world will feel like it is shifting beneath me. And I will keep pressing forward to the wet sand, Christ the solid rock! And I will praise for the crazy that brings me to Him. And remember I am Blessed. Selah… Andrea
